Before commencing study of the Remedial Massage Diplomat at CIT, Rae was already frequently sought after by friends and family for their naturally intuitive massage skills. Encouraged (or, more accurately, bullied) by close friends and loved ones, they reluctantly sought a remedial massage for their own decades-long chronic pain and discomfort. The education and profound difference it made, both physically and mentally, was life-changing and solidified a deep passion for massage therapy. This moment led Rae to pursue a career in the field, a passion that continues to drive their work.

With a background in art, pole dancing, rope performance, and experience mentoring and working with clients across a variety of backgrounds, including children and disabilities, Rae has always been drawn to creative expression, movement, body awareness, educating and caring for others. They combine these interests with their highly intuitive approach to massage therapy, tailoring treatments to the individual needs of each client. Rae has developed a natural ability to sense areas of tension or discomfort, allowing them to focus on healing in a way that feels both deeply therapeutic and nurturing.

Utilising a variety of techniques - such as trigger point therapy, myofascial release, deep tissue massage, cupping, advanced stretching, and joint mobilisation, Rae’s treatments aim to leave clients feeling deeply relaxed, rejuvenated, and balanced. They focus on providing a personalised, client centred experience that integrates both relaxation and therapeutic healing.

Outside of work, Rae enjoys pursuing their creative interests, reading, and playing video games with her family or getting crushed by her dog. They continue to focus on personal growth, always with a commitment to empowering movement, mindfulness, and learning. It is this continuous evolution in both their craft and relationships with clients that makes her work as a massage therapist so rewarding.
